What We Do

What's Included in Countertop Replacement

Countertop replacement is one of the fastest ways to transform a kitchen or bathroom. We handle the whole sequence, from template and fabrication through tear-out, install, and plumbing, so you deal with one company, not three.

Common projects: Kitchen counters, islands, bathroom vanity tops, laundry rooms, outdoor kitchens

  • In-home template and measurement
  • Tear-out and haul-away of old counters
  • Sink cutouts and undermount sink install
  • Faucet and plumbing reconnection
  • Edge profile of your choice
  • Seam planning and placement
  • Backsplash tile or matching splash
  • Sealing for natural stone

Good to know: If your cabinets need leveling or reinforcement first, we tell you at the consultation, not on install day.

Your Choices

Countertop Materials

We bring samples to your home so you can judge color and pattern in your own light, which matters more in Arizona sun than in any showroom.

Quartz

Engineered stone that is nonporous and nearly maintenance-free. No sealing, consistent patterning, and excellent stain resistance. The most requested surface we install.

Granite

Natural stone with one-of-a-kind patterning and excellent heat tolerance. Needs periodic sealing, which we handle at install and show you how to maintain.

Butcher Block & Laminate

Warm, budget-friendly options. Butcher block suits islands and coffee bars; modern laminates have come a long way for secondary spaces and laundry rooms.

How It Works

From Template to Install

01

Consultation & Measure

We look at your existing counters, cabinets, and sink, discuss materials, and take preliminary measurements.

02

Selection & Quote

You choose slab or color, edge profile, and sink configuration. Your quote itemizes material, fabrication, and install.

03

Template & Fabrication

We create an exact template of your cabinets, then your counters are cut, edged, and polished to match it.

04

Install Day

Old counters out, new counters set, seams joined, sink mounted, and plumbing reconnected. Most installs finish in one day.

What to Expect

Timeline and Pricing

How Long Does Countertop Replacement Take?

Countertops move faster than most remodeling work because fabrication happens off-site:

Template to install
Fabrication time after template
1-2 weeks
Install day
Most kitchens, tear-out included
1 day
With new backsplash
Tile follows the counter install
2-4 days

What Affects Countertop Cost?

Three things drive most of the price, and your quote itemizes each:

Material grade: Quartz and granite are priced by group; exotic slabs cost more
Edge and cutouts: Upgraded edge profiles, sink and cooktop cutouts add fabrication cost
Square footage and seams: Island size and layout determine slab count and seam work

We provide detailed, line-item quotes so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Common Questions

Countertop FAQ

Can you install new countertops on my existing cabinets?

Usually, yes. If your cabinet boxes are sound and level, new quartz or granite can go right on top. This is one of the highest-impact updates a kitchen can get without a full remodel. We check your cabinets during the consultation and tell you honestly if they need reinforcement or leveling first.

Quartz or granite: which is better for Arizona?

Both perform well here. Quartz is nonporous and never needs sealing, but its resins can discolor under years of direct sun, so for a west-facing window line or an outdoor kitchen we usually steer you to granite, which handles Arizona sun and heat without complaint. We walk through the trade-offs with samples in your own light.

How long does countertop replacement take?

After you approve the quote and select material, we template your cabinets, and fabrication typically takes one to two weeks. Install day itself is usually a single day, including tear-out of the old counters and reconnecting the sink and faucet.

Can I keep my existing sink and faucet?

Often yes, if they are in good shape and compatible with the new cutout. Many clients use counter replacement as the moment to upgrade to a larger single-basin undermount sink, so we price both options in the quote and let you decide.

Will my counters have visible seams?

Slabs have finite size, so most kitchens need at least one seam. We plan seam placement during templating to put them where they are least visible, and color-match the joint. You will see exactly where seams will fall before fabrication begins.

Do new countertops damage my backsplash?

Removing counters usually disturbs the row of tile sitting on them. Many clients pair new counters with a new backsplash for this reason, and we quote it as an option so there are no surprises either way.

What affects countertop cost the most?

Material group is the biggest driver, since quartz and granite are priced in tiers by rarity and pattern. After that: total square footage, number of slabs, edge profile, and cutouts for sinks and cooktops. Your quote itemizes each so you can adjust selections to fit your budget.

What areas do you serve?

We install countertops throughout the West Valley and Greater Phoenix including Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Avondale, Sun City, Sun City West, and Phoenix.
